About the Yellowstone Rim Runners

We are the Road Runners Club of America affliated running club for Billings, Montana. 

RRCA champions the development and success of community-based running organizations that empower all people to participate in the sport of running in pursuit of enjoyment, health, well-being and competition.

Our mission is to provide a structured organization, within our community, for the purpose of promoting running as a sport and healthy lifestyle choice.

We have weekly clubs runs, races, and are involved in our community in a number of ways.

We host several races each year:

Shamrock Run  5k & Kids Run at Pioneer Park. Celebrate St Paddy's Day and kick of the spring running season.

The Free 3 Race Series (Summer): Road, Track & Trail. Free to members!

Rims to River 8K 
Rim Runner Mile
Dover Trail Trek

Run! Turkey Run! (Thanksgiving Day) - 5k and Street Mile, downtown. All proceeds donated to local charities combating food insecurity.

In addition to our club runs, we have a few 'fun' runs during the year:

New Years Day Run, bring a treat to share 

Demon Dash (October), we elect new board members at this event and host a  potluck

Christmas Light Run/s each Wednesday (December) 

We support Big Sky State Games YES program for kids
