Welcome to November! We still have a lot going on this month, even with going off Daylight Savings Time. It’s time to break out your headlamps and lighted vests and join us on Wednesday nights! The upside is, the Saturday morning runs will be a little brighter, for at least a while. The Rimrunners Run Turkey, Run will take place on Thanksgiving morning and we’re still planning on getting back to an in-person event this year after going virtual in 2020. I’d still like to encourage people to mask up, mainly at the race start and the post-race socializing. It’s probably OK to run without a mask as the crowd thins out. There’s still time to sign up! Our annual Demon Dash and board elections took place on a very nice Sunday, October 24 at Dover Park. A few new board members have joined us; Will Plowman and Danielle Kober will serve in at-large positions, as well as Diana Norton, who has volunteered to take a stab as the Newsletter Editor. Our past editor, Marlena Lanini, will step down, but will help Diana get started. I want to thank Marlena for all her hard work on the newsletter. I think it’s one of the tougher board duties and we’re all grateful that she always managed to put something together each month!
